Douglas Y. Roese, M.D., RPVI
Dr. Douglas Roese brings many years of medical expertise to Southern Indiana Surgery, including a vascular fellowship from Baylor College of Medicine and eight years of general, vascular and laparoendoscopic surgery. Dr. Roese attained his Doctor of Medicine from Augusta’s Medical College of Georgia in 1995. Dr. Roese has earned the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) accreditation.
Beginning his post-surgical training in general surgery at East Tennessee State University, he concluded with a coveted vascular fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in 2003. During his post-surgical training, Dr. Roese was appointed clinical instructor for the Department of Surgery at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine from 1999 to 2000. His professional experience includes general and vascular surgery at Logansport Surgical Associates from 2000 to 2002.
